Far-right activist Laura Loomer has been banned from the ride-sharing services Uber and Lyft after posting anti-Muslim tweets.

Right wing activist Laura Loomer has been banned from Uber after she tweeted about her inability to find a vehicle driven by a "non Muslim". "This is insanity", she tweeted.

Tuesday after the attack, Loomer tweeted: "Everyone who opposed @realDonaldTrump's travel ban looks like a total a******* right now". Alt-right pundit Laura Loomer was eager to jump into the fray, photographing two women in hijab near the lower Manhattan site of the terror attack, and accusing them of "rubbing it in everyone's face". Saipov entered the United States legally in 2010 from Uzbekistan, according to Vox.

She also tweeted, "Someone needs to create a non-Islamic form of @uber or @lyft because I never want to support another Islamic immigrant driver". It's extremely unfortunate and this is a conversation we need to have for our safety".

Her public spat, where she racially targeted all Muslim drivers, holding them responsible for all the unrest in the country, led Uber to ban her from their services.

Laura Loomer, known for her right-wing political activism, had her accounts "deactivated" following multiple incendiary messages aimed at New York's Muslim community.

An Uber spokesperson told Gizmodo that Loomer violated its community guidelines.

Authorities investigating the case also examined Saipov's phone and said that they found about 90 videos, of which "many appear to be "ISIS-related propaganda". Uber declined to comment on the alleged incident.

Gigi and her sister Bella have been vocal about their faith, especially in the wake of Trump's immigration ban earlier this year (which they protested in NY in January).

Following the deadly protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, both Uber and Lyft vowed to take a strict stance on users who were discriminatory, racist or hateful.
