Kevin Spacey is reportedly facing a new investigation over allegations of sexual misconduct dating back to 2005.

Scotland Yard confirmed officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are investigating the complaint.

But according to the PA news agency, it's Kevin Spacey, who was the artistic director of Old Vic Theater, 2004 - 2015, located in the Lambeth district in southern London.

The alleged incident took place in 2005, when Spacey was still serving as artistic director of London's Old Vic theater.

The former House of Cards star's reputation took a hammering last month (Oct17) after actor Anthony Rapp accused the Oscar victor of making inappropriate advances towards him when he was just 14, in 1986. It said numerous alleged incidents took place at the theatre - located in the borough of Lambeth - and involved members of staff.

Spacey said he did "not remember the encounter" but offered "the sincerest apology" if it had taken place. The Old Vic said a "cult of personality" around Spacey had discouraged people from speaking out.

Police would not confirm the identity of the alleged assailant, who was named as Spacey by the Press Association.

Netflix and Sony Pictures have cut ties with the star, firing him from House Of Cards and replacing him in upcoming film All the Money in the World.

There were many other allegations made after Rapp's story became public.

Alleged victim, Daniel Beal said that Spacey showed him his penis in public when he was 19, before giving him his £5,000 watch to buy his silence.

The BBC has contacted Spacey's legal representatives for comment.
