  • 4-year-old 'rapes' classmate: Probing case with highest degree of sensitivity, say police

The Deputy Commissioner of police said legal experts were consulted in this case "since an offense was made out and there was a victim" and a rape case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered.

Dependra Pathak, the Delhi Police chief spokesperson, said, "The Indian Penal Code provides children below seven years of age certain protections against prosecutions".

According to media reports, the victim told her parents that a boy in her class unbuttoned her trousers, used a finger and a sharpened pencil to assault her. According to first information report (FIR) the mother stated, the girl complained of pain in her lower abdomen but the mother ignored it thinking it was "one of her tantrums".

The incident came to light after the girl complained of pain in her private parts to her mother after returning from school on November 17, and later when she was taken to the hospital, the doctors confirmed sexual assault. The child narrated the incident to her mother on Friday.

The boy allegedly kept hurting her because no "didi or teacher" was around at the time.

Charlie Rose Accused of Sexual Misconduct by Eight Women
Soon after The Washington Post's report was published, PBS released a statement, addressing the allegations made against Rose . Another anonymous woman describes Rose as repeatedly putting his hands down her trousers .

The mother of the victim is demanding action against school for dereliction of duties but no case of criminal negligence has been registered against the school so far.

In the complaint, the mother also said, "I spoke to the principal as she had not bothered to answer my call or respond to my mail".

The girl began crying and apprised her mother about the incident. He later sexually assaulted her even though she tried to push him away.

A four-year-old boy was booked by Delhi police for "raping" his classmate in a private school in south-west Delhi. She informed the school again on Saturday, but the authorities allegedly did not cooperate with her and instead asked her to give a written complaint on Monday.

However the school's lawyer maintains that an ayah was present in every washroom of the school. According to Delhi police, the case is being investigated with highest degree of sensitivity and care. Is there a possibility of a sexual need being fulfilled in his case?
