  • All the pay disparity in the world Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg reshot scenes featuring Kevin Spacey back in November after replacing the disgraced actor with Christopher Plummer

Michelle Williams was paid less than 1 percent of what her costar Mark Wahlberg made in order to reshoot the film, according to a report published by USA Today.

It's unclear whether Williams, who is represented by the same talent agency as Wahlberg but has a different agent, would have made the same decision had she known that her male co-star was pulling in $1.5 million for the reshoot.

For her reshoots on "All The Money in the World, ' Michelle Williams" earnings paled in comparison to that of Mark Wahlberg.

Williams, 37, received a $80 per diem stipend, effectively filming the reshoots for free, reports USA Today.

After sexual assault allegations against Kevin Spacey surfaced in early November, director Ridley Scott elected to reshoot Spacey's scenes in the historical drama, with Christopher Plummer taking over the role of mogul J. Paul Getty.

Scott managed to assemble his cast and crew on short notice during the Christmas period, successfully reshooting and re-editing the film in time to meet its original release date.

Wahlberg was named Hollywood's highest paid actor by Forbes a year ago, raking in an estimated $68 million in the publication's 12-month scoring period.

The film's production company, Imperative Entertainment, and reps for Wahlberg and Williams did not respond to The Times' requests for comment on Wednesday.

"I thought I would have to raise my daughter to learn how to protect herself in a unsafe world and I think because of the work Tarana has done and the work I am learning how to do, we actually have the opportunity to hand our children a different world", Williams told Ryan Seacrest during a red carpet interview. The Post, citing sources close to the negotiations, reported then that Wahlberg was paid at least $2 million for approximately 10 days of work.

However, the new USA Today report states that Wahlberg negotiated for a big paycheck, and Williams was not informed. Christopher [Plummer] had to get paid.

- Mark Wahlberg didn't get all the money in the world, but he got a lot. The finished film was set to be released in theaters on December 25.

"They all came in free", Scott said.
