Animal Sharing: New Horizons“ the second summer update was released on Wednesday night, bringing new seasonal items and fireworks to the game. Another long-awaited feature has also been added, the ability to save backup data in an emergency. But that’s not all: The players who started the game were surprised and excited when they found that Nintendo has increased back in a feature that was once patched out.
In early July, Nintendo patched a glitch that let players turn off the New Horizons HUD while using the in-game camera app. Players were upset: The feature was widely used by content and other creators to take a professional and clear video ̵1; something needed to create realistic trailers of the Animal Sharing genre. However, now, the glitch is a feature.
“A new feature has been added to the NookPhone Camera app, which allows you to turn off guidance information by pressing R-Stick,” Nintendo wrote in its patch notes. Two new popups in the game are now available as a reminder, one of which notes that players “can’t turn off the guide when using the solo horizontal grip on a Joy-Con controller.”

Players are excited to see the feature back New Horizons – there is justice to user-created videos again. For some, players are given the hope that other changes in quality of life, such as stacking the item, will eventually patch up in the game.
