Cooking has never been my strong suit.

For most of my early 20s, “making dinner” really just means filling some cheese in the tortilla and popping it in the microwave. I burned an instant chow mein for a crisp. And baking? Forget it!

But I’ve been trying to use the last few months to be more comfortable in the kitchen. So when Michelin star chef Josh Emett told me about Giorgio Locatelli’s recipe for spaghetti alla carbonara ̵
