Metal Gear Solid 5 Players on PS3 End Nuclear Weapons Race After 5 Years

In Solid Metal Gear V: Phantom Pain, there is a cut that only causes if your server achieves total nuclear disarmament – that is, no one on your gaming platform has or is developing any nuclear weapons on the -Front Operating Base. It’s ‘ceccene’ that needs global cooperation to open up – and now, five years later, one group of players has succeeded. It’s something the world hasn’t been able to do since the first nuclear weapons were developed in the 1940s, and speaks to the game’s critique of the theory of Mutual Assurance Destruction.

Reddit user LoneQuacker highlighted the achievement and presented the cut he had for PS3 players when total disarmament was achieved. The video, posted by user “Steff,” is “brought to you by an anti-nuke gang,” according to his video description.

You can see the cutcene below, and see if it brings any feeling of hope inside you. “I thought this day would never come,” intones Kiefer Sutherland’s Snake early in the heart. At this point, neither are we.

The cutting edge was actually started once before in the PC version of the game, but that shouldn’t have been the case, as the prerequisite was not met. The PS3 game version has a much smaller installation base than most of the other versions – the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions that surpassed the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, wise for sales.

Phantom Pain will finally be the game of Metal Gear Solid by series creator Hideo Kojima. Its latest game, Death Stranding, which was recently released on PC after the 2019 launch on PS4.
